Could Be Me
Wednesday, January 28, 2009 | Posted by Krista Richards. at 10:21 AM |

"Could be me is a project exploring possibility of one artist occupying another's space. It is a visual adventure and an interpretation of the same sentence by different artists worldwide ." Also a good way to find some more artists out there.

The 2008 Feltron Annual Report is interesting. Must have taken some crazy dedication.
Handmade Nation
Thursday, January 22, 2009 | Posted by Krista Richards. at 4:29 PM |
One of my new years resolutions is to be craftier. For awhile now, I've had this urge to make stuff by hand. However, without sewing skills and a sad, sad talent for drawing, I have no idea where to start. Handmade Nation is a documentary coming out this year all about the recent DIY movement. Maybe it'll light the fire within.
The Selby

I love this. Photographer Todd Selby photographs interesting people in their creative spaces. Started because of his curiosity about the way personal space reflects personality, The Selby shows artists, musicians, writers and other creative people in their strange, crazy spaces.
Present & Correct

Online store Present & Correct has some painfully cute paper goods, as well as a good website. One day I will have money. One day I will be able to buy things.
Marc Johns

Marc Johns' work is just plain weird. The Canadian illustrator has a blog, but I think the best way to browse his stuff is through Flickr. This man's head is nutty. I like.
Office

Office is a small design studio located in San Fransisco. My favorite work of theirs being the pirate supply packaging done for 826 Valencia, all of their work is bright and friendly. They're even the ones responsible for that Get Out the Vote poster we all loved.
Jon Contino

Jon Contino is a typographer and illustrator from New York City. Lately, I've been having horrible sketchbook anxiety. Looking at his sketchbook work on Flickr didn't make me feel any better. Maybe one day I'll be able to bust out with the Blackletter too.
The Oxford Project

In 1984, photographer Peter Feldstein photographed every resident living in the small town of Oxford, Iowa. Twenty years later he returned to photograph them again. They are now compiled in the book, The Oxford Project, alongside some really interesting interviews. I love time travel.
Objectified Trailer

Gary Hustwit, creator of Helvetica, has a new movie coming out this March. Objectified is a full length documentary on industrial design and I'm super excited to see it.
