I might be the only person in existence who's yet to have a Flickr account. I have no reason to, really. I'm too lazy to carry a camera around. However, I'll definitely be signing up for an account once FFolio is launched next month. It's a free, hosted portfolio service that automatically feeds from your Flickr photos. It'll be a fast and easy way to show our portfolio until we're rich enough to buy that domain space of our own. Read more and sign up for updates at ffolio.net.

The Grid System
| Posted by Krista Richards. at 9:28 AM |
The Grid System has just been launched by AisleOne. Created to be an ever-expanding resource site on the topic of grid systems, it hopes be a one stop shop for all designers to learn about grids, how to design them and how to use them. The site features links to articles, tools, books, templates and more. It even expands over into a Flickr group. This could turn into a great resource for all of us.
1001 Rules for my Unborn Son
| Posted by Krista Richards. at 12:24 AM |

"Let's get some things straight before I get old and uncool."
1001 Rules for my Unborn Son is an endearing blog listing some of life's most necessary lessons from father to son. Man, I wish my parents would have passed a few of these on to me...case in point:
Rule 174: If you are tempted to wear a cowboy hat, resist.
Rule 272: If the teacher forgets to assign homework, keep quiet.
Rule 289: Address anyone who carries a firearm as Sir or Ma'am.
The site also includes some great vintage photography, good quotes and the occasional required listening.
